The National Center for Student Parent Programs’ Advanced Scholars Program was funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Center for Best Practices to Support Single Parent Students in Higher Education Grant, a program of the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education.

The Advanced Scholars Program supported the research of four Ph.D. researchers, and one graduate research fellow to expand scholarly research to inform evidence-based approaches to supporting student parents in higher education.
