The Mid-Atlantic Survey of Student Parent Programs
As part of an ongoing research project to create a national guidebook of colleges and universities supporting student parents Sahar Haghighat was tasked with completing the Mid-Atlantic states region.
During the research process she worked closely with Dr. Autumn Green to create a comprehensive research methodology that can be replicated in other regions in support of a national completed guidebook.
As part of the replication process she worked with students at UC Berkeley to develop a participatory action research model for replicating the research process in the remaining three geographic regions, and is creating a replication “toolkit” for student parent scholars interested in contributing to this national dataset.
